About my speed skating

I started speed skating when I was 18. I used to figure skate and I actually started speed skating through a bet of which sport was the hardest, speed skating or figure skating? I discovered that speeed skating was an amazingly fun and exhilarating sport, and so I started speed skating;) ..and here I am today, still spending every single day devoted to speed skating.

Combined with my speed skating training I also do road biking, inline skating, running, sprints, dance, and lift weights.

The 2005-2007 season I spent speed skating with the FAST team in Utah, USA. Now I am skating for Geithus IL in Norway.

My artistic side:

Art is a huge fascination of mine. I love to make films and I also oil paint and draw. I play classical piano and I love to jam on the guitar. I danced ballett since the age of 4, combined with many other dance genres. and did figure skating,  an activity where art meets sport.

My latest oil painting.

Film student of NISS 2007-2008 (Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio) in Oslo.

Wildlife filmmaking. Eventually I want to combine my passion for filmmaking, art, animals (most of you know I practically have a zoo at home) and of course my passion for sport and activity.

Here is a 3min video I sent to Animal Planet as an audition for their next TV series "unearthed" where they pick  4 lucky people to learn how to become wildlife filmmakers in South Africa. (talk about an amazing kick start to the ultimate career) It took me 2 weeks to get the film footage I wanted for this audition tape and everything had to be done yourself, making the most challenging part filming your self.
